The present invention relates to a streaming/reproducing apparatus for synchronizing a network video in a distributed system and a method thereof, which prevent a parallax of image representation between systems when transmitting a video to a plurality of decoder systems connected on a network to implement a video wall function. The streaming/reproducing apparatus for synchronizing a network video in a distributed system comprises: a transmission device for periodically measuring a system time to generate a synchronization signal, transmitting the synchronization signal to a receiving side, inserting representation time information into a compressed original video stream to multiplex the same, and transmitting the same as a packet to the receiving side through a network; and a reception device for applying the synchronization signal transmitted from the transmission device through the network to a system time to implement synchronization, demultiplexing a received video packet to separate the demultiplexed video packet into a video stream and representation time information, and synchronizing the same to be output to a display device.
