BOOLEAN LOGIC IN A STATE MACHINE LATTICE

Devices and methods are disclosed which are devices including a finite state machine grating. The lattice may comprise a programmable Boolean logic cell that can be programmed to perform various logic functions on the data stream. Programmability includes the inversion of the first input to the Boolean logic cell, the inversion of the last output of the Boolean logic cell, and the selection of the AND gate or the OR gate as the final output of the Boolean logic cell. The Boolean logic cell also includes an end of the data circuit configured to cause the Boolean logic cell to output after the end of the data representing the end of the data stream is received in the Boolean logic cell.
