The present invention relates to a composition for preventing, alleviating or treating disorders associated with polycystic ovary syndrome, comprising an extract of Tetragonia tetragonoides as an effective component. In particular, the effective component of the present invention, the extract of Tetragonia tetragonoides shows a regulatory activity of dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) production; and shows effects of reducing luteinizing hormone in blood, testosterone in blood, and the number of ovarian follicular cysts in ovaries, and thus can be effectively used in the prevention, alleviation or treatment of one or more disorders associated with polycystic ovary syndrome, selected from hyperandrogenemia, amenorrhea, hypomenorrhea, dysfunctional uterine bleeding, premature menopause, sterility, ovarian failure, and endometriosis.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2018
