The present invention relates to a system and a method for predicting a fault of a rotating body by using vibration. More specifically, the present invention relates to a system and a method for predicting a fault of a rotating body by using frequency energy of a vibration signal in which vibration data with respect to vibration generated by rotation of the rotating body is collected, and an information entropy with respect to the collected frequency energy of the vibration data is measured to predict and diagnose a possibility of the fault of the rotating body. The system for predicting a fault of a rotating body comprises: a storage portion; a vibration measuring portion; and a control portion.
