According to the present invention, an official seal ID code method for displaying artist information and art piece information of an exhibited art piece based on signage comprises: a step, by a first user terminal, of transmitting at least one kind of artist information and art piece information related to an art piece to be exhibited; a step, by a server, of converting at least one kind of the artist information and art piece information received from the first user terminal into codes and transmitting the generated code to the first user terminal; and a step, by a second user terminal, of checking at least one kind of the artist information and art piece information related to the art piece by scanning the code marked on a lower end portion of the art piece or around the art piece. According to the official seal ID code method for displaying artist information and art piece information of an exhibited art piece based on signage of the present invention, if artist information and art piece information of an exhibited art piece are converted into color codes and displayed through digital signage, a visitor can easily check artist information and art piece information of the exhibited art piece that the visitor is watching by scanning the code by using a user terminal of the visitor.
