The present invention relates to an immersed type filtration apparatus. More particularly, the present invention relates to an immersion type filtration apparatus provided with a backwash system using compressed air, and is advantageous in terms of economic efficiency since the apparatus is installed in water tank as an immersed type so that volume of the entire apparatus can be reduced, and the washing operation is facilitated and efficient by controlling opening and closing of a discharge line by compressed air. The apparatus comprises: a water tank into which raw water to be treated flow through an inlet formed at one side; at least one filtration chamber having an inflow space including first and second openings formed on both sides of an inner lower portion of the water tank, a discharge space formed in an upper portion of the water tank, and a filtration layer formed between the inflow space and the discharge space; and an air supply line for supplying air to the discharge space.
