The present invention relates to an epoxy resin composition comprising 60 to 75 wt% of (A) and 10 to 20 wt% of (B), wherein (A) is a phenol novolak type epoxy resin, (B) is a mixed curing agent of 4,4′-DDS, dicyandiamide and 3-(3,4-dichlorophenyl)-1,1-dimethylurea), (C) is an aromatic thermoplastic resin which can be dissolved in (A) and (D) is a thermoplastic resin having a functional group reactive with the (A), and being soluble in the (A). The epoxy resin composition according to the present invention exhibits excellent physical properties such as high toughness, high strength and high heat resistance using an optimal resin synthesis and compounding technique and a 350°F curing type epoxy curing agent.
