The present invention relates to a system for managing a power grid linkage of a distributed power source and a method thereof. The system for managing a power grid linkage of a distributed power source includes an energy storage device for storing power supplied from the distributed power source connected to a distribution line of a power system or supplying the stored power to the distribution line, a flow power monitoring device for measuring flow power flowing along the distribution line in a linkage point between the distribution line and the distributed power source, and a power management device for controlling charging and discharging operations of the energy storage device based on the flow power measured by the flow power monitoring device. Accordingly, the present invention can increase the utilization rate of the distribution line and increase the capacity of the distributed power source that can be linked to a single distribution line.
