The present invention relates to a steel fiber reinforced cement composite material containing milled glass fibers to self-detect cracks and damage, and a manufacturing method thereof. According to the present invention, the steel fiber reinforced cement composite material has a high change rate in electrical resistance before and after cracks by containing milled glass fibers to have an excellent detection capability due to damage to a structure. Also, the steel fiber reinforced cement composite material has excellent mechanical properties as well as has the excellent detection capability due to the damage to a structure by mixing steel fibers and milled glass fibers together to replace a part of steel fibers included to maintain the high mechanical performance of the cement composite material with the milled glass fibers.
