The present invention relates to a seamless knitted garment made of knit course, a method of making the same, as well as a respective circular knitting machine for hosiery and knitwear. The padded garment made of knit course includes a heel portion, a toe portion, an intermediate portion located between the heel portion and the toe portion, and an opening between the heel portion, the middle portion and the toe portion for insertion of the user''s foot . The toe and heel are aligned along the length. The middle portion of the opening ends with a right edge and a left edge. The garment is knit entirely seamlessly. At least one or both of the right and left edges include at least one elastic portion made of a plurality of elastic stitches located at the end of the knit course. The elastic stitch comprises at least one main thread of the padded garment knitted by at least one elastic thread.
