An embodiment of the present invention relates to an HDMI matrix routing switching system. A technical object of the present invention is to provide an HDMI matrix routing switching system with a fault diagnosis function, capable of sending fault diagnosis messages in real time from an HDMI matrix to an A/V switcher without directly inspecting or analyzing the input/output connection status and the routing status to check the fault status of the HDMI matrix so that the fault status and routing status can be checked in the A/V switcher. The HDMI matrix routing switching system according to the present invention includes an HDMI matrix having a plurality of input and output terminals; an A/V switcher connected to an output terminal of the HDMI matrix; and a matrix connection diagnosis and HDMI DDC communication unit for diagnosing the connection state of the HDMI matrix and setting an HDMI DDC communication terminal between the HDMI matrix and the A/V switcher.
