The present invention relates to a control method of a glycol water heater for preventing brittle fracture of an LNGC cargo. In the present invention, a cofferdam heated by glycol water is installed between a plurality of cargoes storing gas, and the glycol water heater is connected to the cofferdam so as to heat cooled glycol water discharged from the cofferdam and re-transfer the heated glycol water to the cofferdam. The present invention is installed with the glycol water heater capable of producing high temperature glycol water such that brittle fracture of cargoes and the cofferdam can be prevented.
