Disclosed is a wastewater treatment carrier capable of being manufactured at a low cost and a wastewater treatment apparatus using an environmentally friendly wastewater treatment carrier which is embedded in the ground in a small size and can be used semi-permanently. The carrier for wastewater according to the present invention comprises: a carrier body made of porous synthetic resin foamed to enable microorganisms to live therein; and a weight body inserted in a hole with an interference fit, wherein the hole is formed by a part of the carrier body being cut.
