The present invention relates to a rubber composition comprising natural rubber and neodymium butadiene rubber, and a flame retardant energy saving conveyor belt prepared by using the same. The conveyor belt prepared by using the rubber composition exhibits the flame retardant performance to prevent the line loss due to fire. The rubber composition of the present invention has the energy saving performance of reducing power consumption, by remarkably reducing the rolling resistance of the conveyor belt with respect to an idler located on the lower side during a transfer process.
