The present invention relates to a human machine interface (HMI) system for industrial process automation control and a process automation monitoring method based thereon. Therefore, the present invention can receive an industrial process automation control integrated platform so as to simultaneously perform real-time facility monitoring, control amount measurement, alarm display and recording of an abnormal state in a process, communication with a management system and production and facility management. The HMI system for industrial process automation control comprises: an HMI-based production facility automation monitoring/controlling terminal; a plurality of PLC panels; and a plurality of articulated robots connected to each PLC panel.
