WIRE ELECTRIC DISCHARGE MACHINE CAPABLE OF MACHINING VARIOUS SURFACES

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire electric discharge machine capable of performing machining with high flexibility exceeding two-dimensional machining or 2.5-dimensional machining without changing a posture of work.;SOLUTION: A wire electric discharge machine 1 has a multi-joint robot 6 equipped with a wire stretching mechanism 8 which stretches a wire electrode 2 at a hand; a robot controller 7 which controls the multi-joint robot 6; a numerical value control device 3 which controls the wire electric discharge machine 1; and transmission means 21 which transmits a coordinate position when the multi-joint robot 6 is drive-controlled to move the wire stretching mechanism 8, from the robot controller 7 to the numerical value control device 3. The numerical value control device 3 synchronizes a position of each shaft of the wire electric discharge machine 1 with the movement of the wire stretching mechanism 8, with reference to the coordinate position transmitted by the transmission means 21.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
