The present invention relates to a Myoviridae bacteriophage Vib-PAP-8 (Accession No. KCTC 13248BP) which shows ability to kill Vibrio parahaemolyticus bacteria, has a genome represented by sequence number 1, and is isolated from natural substances. The present invention further relates to a method for preventing or treating disease caused by Vibrio parahaemolyticus bacteria using a composition containing the same as an active ingredient.
