The present invention relates to a primer set, a composition and a kit for simultaneous detection of severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS)-related coronavirus and Middle East respiratory syndrome (MERS)-related coronavirus. The present invention further relates to a method for simultaneous detection of SARS-related coronavirus and MERS-related coronavirus. The use of the primer for simultaneous detection of SARS-related coronavirus and MERS-related coronavirus enables detection of trace amounts of SARS-related coronavirus and MERS-related coronavirus with specificity and high sensitivity, thereby being industrially useful by diagnosing SARS and MERS in human as well as in bats in a quick and economically feasible way.
