A cap for a receptacle, in particular a tube, in particular a flexible tube for a cosmetic product. The receptacle has a neck (3) and a solid insert (8) forming a seal that closes off one end of the neck (3) that leads into an internal volume (4) of the receptacle. The cap (1) has a punch (14) designed to cut and/or pierce the seal, and the cap (1) being designed to be positioned on the neck (3) in a standby position in which the punch (14) is in the neck (3), leaving the seal intact, and in a use position in which the seal has been cut and/or pierced by the punch (14). The punch (14) has a body (30) in the form of a stem that is configured to cut and/or pierce the seal.
