Method comprises receiving signals of spaced receiving positions, spatial selection in each of the positions by the received signals, incoherent accumulation of each of the spatial selection results, making decisions on the detection of marks from the targets based on the results of accumulation over time, formation of direction finding lines based on the results of each mark detection, determination of the direction bearing lines intersection points coordinates, determination of the distances between the system receiving positions, measurement of the levels of signals received by these positions, on which marks are found, recalculation of each of these levels, formation of the difference functions of the signal levels recalculation results, determination of target coordinates, selection by each specific target, which coordinates are defined, calculating the signal level by the specified target at the selected receiving position, recalculated to the its location point, calculating of the posteriori probabilities of this target belonging to each of the given classes and determining the each detected target class.EFFECT: technical result is determining of the detected targets coordinates and making a decision about the class of each of them.1 cl, 3 dwg
