Use: for automated ultrasonic testing of metal products in industry. The essence of the useful model is that the device for ultrasonic inspection of the metal product object contains the first and second modules of separate two-stage control, which include ultrasonic transducers for sounding the metal product object and supporting elements for moving the indicated transducers in the working areas of the modules, functional control and processing units measuring information, the power supply source associated with these control modules, while the functional nodes control and processing of the measurement information are configured to control, in the first stage, one half of the object, including the adjacent edge portion, by means of a first monitoring module, and with the possibility to control the second half of the other half of the object, also including the adjacent edge portion, by means of a second monitoring module, the spatial arrangement of which is selected from the condition that the working areas of the modules cover the corresponding half parts of the object during the inspection.
