FIELD: machine building.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compositions and methods for producing wear-resistant coatings for protection against wear, and can be used in friction pairs in machine building, metalworking and oil production. Method of obtaining wear-resistant coating based on TiN with the addition of Mo by the PVD method on a hard-metal product is characterized in that the coating is deposited layer by layer by ion-plasma vacuum arc deposition while rotating the support structures, alternately depositing the material of cathodes BT5 and Mo with arcs with current of 135 and 100 A respectively, and applying negative bias potential equal to 80–140 V to the product being coated, in an atmosphere of a mixture of argon and nitrogen gases with a partial pressure of 0.3–0.5 Pa.;EFFECT: technical result of the invention consists in increasing the resistance of the coated product to wear under various conditions of external influence, including friction at room and elevated temperature, abrasive wear, impact loads.;1 cl, 4 ex, 7 dwg, 2 tbl
