FIELD: manufacturing technology.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the production of an organometallic frame compound with luminescent properties. Process comprises mixing the ytterbium or erbium nitrate hydrate or a mixture thereof in dimethylformamide at a concentration of 9 mmol/l with a benzene-1,3,5,-tricarboxylic acid solution in dimethylformamide at a concentration of 42 mmol/l at room temperature. Reaction mixture is further heated in a closed vessel for 12 to 16 hours at 85–150 °C, cooled down to room temperature and filtered. Resulting solid is washed with dimethylformamide, then in 30 ml of ethanol at least three times and subjected to drying under vacuum at 300 °C for 30 minutes. Obtained compounds possess, along with luminescent are also with up-conversion luminescence properties, which allows to use them as photoactive materials for converting infrared radiation into visible light. Invention provides an organometallic frame compound of the MOF-76 structure with high thermal stability by simplified technology due to the elimination of the need for a strict control of the pH of the mixture and the rate of addition of metal salts, decrease in temperature and time of the process with an increase in the target product yield by almost 2 times to 96.3 %.;EFFECT: invention provides an organometallic frame compound of the MOF-76 structure with high thermal stability by simplified technology.;4 cl, 9 dwg, 9 ex, 2 tbl
