FIELD: animal breeding.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of cattle breeding, namely, to a method of T-2 toxin adsorbing in the gastrointestinal tract of lactating cows. Method comprises introducing an adsorbent into the main diet. As the adsorbent, finely dispersed (1–6 microns) diatomaceous earth is used in doses of 0.5–1.0 % of the total amount of the main diet concentrates, wherein the adsorbent is used in a mixture with the concentrates during the whole period of the grain utilization, contaminated with T-2 toxin in concentrations of 0.485–0.970 mg/kg, with an average T-2 toxin concentration in the diet of 0.073–0.147 mg/kg.;EFFECT: use of the invention will reduce the negative effect of T-2 toxin on the metabolism of animals and increase milk production.;3 cl, 4 tbl
