Ultrasonic examination of volumetric neoplasms in the thyroid gland and then pulsooptometry with an estimation of the blood flow parameters by means of the determination of the amplitude of pulse oscillations and optical density are carried out. At values of optical density of 40 and more and amplitudes of pulse oscillations of 43 mm and less judge about benign neoplasms. At values of optical density of 19 and less and amplitudes of pulse oscillations of 44 mm and more, malignant tumors in the thyroid gland are judged.;EFFECT: method provides an increase in the accuracy of differential diagnosis of benign and malignant neoplasms in the thyroid gland by examining their optical density.;1 cl, 2 ex
