FIELD: machine building.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and can be used in the manufacture of thin-walled shells of rocket engines or shell elements with a thick-walled bottom in its middle part. Several elements of the shell are made separately and joined into a single-piece semi-finished product. Heat treatment is then carried out to relieve stresses followed with the final treatment. Herewith the shell elements are made with the first element having male seating surfaces and the second element having female ones. In the single-piece semi-finished product the shell elements are assembled as per the seating surfaces rightly.;EFFECT: technological capabilities of the method are expanded.;3 cl, 5 dwg
