FIELD: chemistry.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the chemical industry and can be used in the manufacture of fluorescent lamps, light-emitting diodes, plasma display panels, cathode-ray tubes and medical devices for treatment of oncological diseases by photodynamic therapy. First, tributyl phosphate (TBP) is added to the europium oleate in a molar ratio Eu:TBP of 1:(6–7). Resulting mixture is fired in a closed muffle furnace at 700–750 °C for 3 hours.
