FIELD: machine building.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to textile machine building, namely to the textile waste treatment system noise mufflers. Muffler includes a housing, coaxial inlet and outlet branch pipes and resonance insert mounted coaxially to the housing, housing and resonant insert are arranged coaxially and in the cross-section have equidistant polygonal profile, for example rectangular, wherein along the edges the resonant insert is provided with diffuser and confuser with perforated disks rigidly fixed thereto, and in the middle of the resonance insert stiffening rib in the form of a solid partition is installed, dividing the resonant insert into two chambers, wherein the resonance insert is secured in the housing by means of fixing elements made in the form of at least one partition with holes, at that, the housing from the inside, and the resonant insert from the outside are lined with sound-absorbing material, having thicknesses h1 and h2, respectively.;EFFECT: technical result is increased efficiency of noise suppression.;1 cl, 3 dwg
