FIELD: chemistry.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of organic synthesis, specifically to a process for preparing dimethyl-, diethyl-, dipropyl- and dibutyl acetals of aminoacetaldehyde, which can be used as intermediates in the synthesis of biologically active compounds. Process is characterized by the fact that dimethyl-, diethyl-, dipropyl- and dibutyl acetals of amino acetaldehyde are obtained by reduction of the corresponding dimethyl-, diethyl-, dipropyl- and dibutyl acetals of azidoacetaldehyde with triphenylphosphine at a molar ratio of a dialkyl acetal azidoacetaldehyde-triphenylphosphine = 1:1.5 and methanol is used as the solvent.;EFFECT: proposed method makes it possible to obtain the desired products in high yield with a low duration and high safety.;1 cl, 7 ex
