Controller implementing this method is designed to control ECLM based on thin-film electrochromic and charge-buffer layers separated by a layer of optically neutral electrolyte. Controller contains six function blocks: the unit for determining the required operating voltage (Up) on the ECLM, depending on the illumination and / or user-defined, block for determining the safe voltage range (Ub) for ECLM as a function of temperature, the first comparator unit, the second comparator unit, the charge / discharge ECLM unit, the relay unit. In this case, the range of safe voltage values on the ECLM is determined by the difference in potentials of the electrochemical reactions occurring at the cathode and the anode of the light modulator at the current temperature of the ECLM.;EFFECT: reduction of the complexity of the controller for ECLM management in order to increase the reliability of its operation and the accuracy of the regulatory impact on the basis of a more adequate assessment of the state of ECLM during operation.;8 cl, 4 dwg
