FIELD: test equipment.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the testing technique for liquid-propellant rocket engines (LPREs) in terrestrial conditions when performing firing acceptance tests of flight engine samples. Essence of the invention lies in the fact that each manufactured engine is subjected to fire tests to determine the dependences of the thrust and the specific impulse from the fuel input pressure, as well as the drop in thrust and the after-effect pulse. Tests are carried out at the inlet pressures of the fuel from the working range in which the engine is used, and for each input pressure of the fuel a series of N short-duration inclusions of the same duration with a pause between them to fix the drop in thrust and the after-effect pulse.;EFFECT: technical result of the invention is to obtain reliable performance characteristics of the LPRE, both under long-term operation conditions and close to pulsed, reduction in the amount of fuel consumed during testing, as well as the possibility of obtaining detailed characteristics of the LPRE in the operating range of the fuel input pressures.;1 cl, 3 dwg
