At that, data from the technical reconnaissance means are coming directly to the senior officer's console, bypassing the artillery formation commander's console. Then via the digital radio channel the artillery formation senior officer transmits a message to the gun terminals, which contains only the target data and the shooting parameters. Shooting settings calculation takes place at the guns terminals. With this message arrival at the gun terminals, response message is generated about the fact of the shooting settings calculation and its transmission to the artillery formation senior officer.
