FIELD: fault detection.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of the oil and gas pipelines, oil product pipelines technical condition nondestructive testing using the in-tube magnetic flaw detectors and concerns the small diameter thick-walled pipelines in-pipe diagnostics. Essence of invention consists in the fact, that the flaw detector longitudinal magnetization magnetic system for the small diameter thick-walled pipelines diagnostics contains at least two asymmetric segmented magnetic systems, in series installed with the angular displacement relative to the flaw detector longitudinal axis and consisting of the divided into different size sectors magnetic circuit, on which sectors part the solid steel plates-pads are fixed for the magnetic flux transfer to the pipeline examined area, between which the sensors blocks are located.;EFFECT: reduction of the magnetic system diameter and expansion of operational capabilities.;1 cl, 2 dwg
