FIELD: measurement technology.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the measurement of magnetic magnitudes of weak magnetic fields, whose amplitude is comparable to or much smaller than the amplitude of the geomagnetic field, in the selective breeding of perennial grasses and certain species of plants – pathogen reserves. In the method, genotypes of perennial grasses and trees are differentiated on the basis of the magnetic induction of a weak magnetic field. In particular, the magnetic induction of grey alder, common white, bird cherry, having leaves affected by diseases and without such leaves, snowy clover, meadow fescue grass and plant-free standard is measured. Any increase in the level of magnetic induction corresponds to the stable or weakly susceptible genotypes of perennial grasses.;EFFECT: method makes it possible to identify plants resistant to pathogens on the basis of magnetic induction.;1 cl, 1 tbl
