FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to X-ray examinations and to the improvement of patient safety during such examinations , and concerns an isotonic X-ray composition used as a bolus injection for newborns, children and adult patients, as well as for individuals with underdeveloped / weak kidney function containing yoforminol and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier or excipient, where the composition contains an iodine concentration of 160–200 mg/ml and a sodium ions concentration of 70–120 mM and a calcium ions concentration of 0.5–1.3 mM.
