FIELD: technological processes.;SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for welding in vacuum of tubular adapters titanium – stainless steel. Tubular part of the titanium adapter and the tubular part of the stainless steel adapter located outside it are telescopically connected, heated, deformed and hold at the temperature of diffusion welding. On the inner surface of the stainless steel adapter, ring grooves with a depth of no more than 0.5 mm are made, which before welding is filled with suspension of polyvinyl butyral and ultrafine nickel powder with an ultradisperse nickel powder content of 61 to 80 %. In the first stage, diffusion welding is carried out at temperature of 950–975 °C, and on the second – at temperature of 765–815 °C. Interval between the steps is selected to be from 300 to 600 seconds, and the holding time in the second step is selected in the range of 61–158 seconds.;EFFECT: invention provides higher quality of mechanical coupling of parts of tubular adapters titanium – stainless steel.;1 cl
