METHOD FOR PREDICTING DEVELOPMENT OF ALCOHOLIC FETOPATHY AGAINST SMALL AND MODERATE DOSES OF LOW-ALCOHOL DRINKS

FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to obstetrics, gynecology, pediatrics, neonatology and biochemistry, and can be used to predict the development of alcoholic fetopathy when a pregnant woman consumes small and moderate doses of low-alcohol drinks in the first half of pregnancy (up to 20 weeks). In a woman in term of pregnancy of 18–20 weeks risk factors, namely to: oxidized glutathione, superoxide dismutase, retinol, alpha-tocopherol, general antioxidant activity, progesterone and whether there was a threat of termination of pregnancy in the first trimester. The identified risk factors, gradations and numerical values are established, after which the prognostic coefficients F₁ and F₂ with the subsequent comparison of their values. When F₁ greater than or equal to F₂ predict the development of alcoholic fetopathy, while for F₂ more F₁ predict the absence of alcoholic fetopathy and the birth of a healthy child, i.e. a child who does not have FAS or FASD. Method has high accuracy (85.3 %). High accuracy of the forecast is achieved due to the use of a complex of the most informative indicators, revealed using mathematical and statistical methods.;EFFECT: opportunity to timely carry out preventive measures, which helps to reduce the frequency of birth of children with alcoholic fetopathy.;1 cl, 1 tbl, 2 ex
