FIELD: chemistry; physics.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to masking radio-absorbing coatings that reduce the visibility of the objects of technology, and more particularly to devices for absorbing emitted electromagnetic waves, made of composite porous materials based on foamed high-molecular compounds containing distributed electroconductive elements. Composite radio-absorbing coating contains a polyurethane foam base in whose volume the functional electrically conductive particles are distributed. New is that the functional particles are made in the form of fragments of a microwire 0.3–3.0 mm in length and 3–40 mcm in diameter of amorphous cobalt placed inside the glass shell.;EFFECT: proposed technical solution ensured the expansion of the functionality of the masking coating of high-contrast objects due to a multiple increase in the magnetic properties of the coating.;1 cl
