A train control system that allows a train to drive smoothly while a transfer is in progress. The system has a vehicle wire station (21) mounted on a train (1) following a previous train (2) and connected to an on-board vehicle control device (11) of the train (1), a plurality of ground wireless base stations (31 , 32, 33) capable of wirelessly communicating with the vehicle wireless station (21), and a base station controller (41) for controlling the ground wireless base stations (31, 32, 33). The ground wireless base station (32) is located between the ground wireless base station (31) to which the vehicle wireless station (21) communicates and the ground wireless base station (33) which forms a communication area having a driving permission point (61) passing through a position of the train (2 ) is determined. The base station controller (41) reserves radio resources of the ground wireless base stations (32, 33) while communicating with the ground wireless base station (31).
