There is proposed a hair brush for detangling and maintaining hair of the head and a method of manufacturing a hairbrush for detangling and maintaining hair of the head. The hairbrush comprises a brush body and at least one bristle cushion. Spaced from the bristle cushion plastic bristles and rows of bristle tufts extend.
