The work machine (10) comprises an electric motor-driven and/or electro-hydraulic traction drive (24) and/or at least one electric motor-driven and/or electro-hydraulic drive (26) for gripping, lifting and/or manipulating elements and/or tools, as well as an air-conditioning and/or heating device (28) which is electrically operated, which is energy-coupled to the traction drive (24) and/or to the at least one drive (26) for the gripping, lifting and/or manipulating elements and/or tools and/or to power supply components (32) of the work machine (10), and which air-conditions, cools and/or heats at least sub-sections of a cabin interior (30). Also disclosed is a method for air-conditioning, cooling and/or heating at least sub-sections of a cabin interior (30) of a cabin (12) of a mobile work machine (10) of this type equipped with transparent surfaces (14).
