Provided is a method for trajectory planning of vehicles, in which the planning of the longitudinal movement and the planning of the transverse movement takes place in different coordinate systems, wherein the planning of the transverse movement in Frenet coordinates and the planning of longitudinal movement takes place in railway coordinates and from an overall trajectory is determined ,
