A system for reporting a presence of an occupant in a vehicle by historical patterns and methods thereof

Systems and methods disclosed herein are directed to providing notification of the presence of an occupant in a vehicle before it arrives at a destination. In an illustrative embodiment, the vehicle may include a location system for tracking routes taken or traveled by the vehicle. The vehicle may include a detection system to determine whether the occupant is in the vehicle along these vehicle-traveled routes. The vehicle may also include a reporting system. The message system can store the routes traveled by the vehicle with and without the occupants in the vehicle. The reporting system may indicate, based on the historical patterns of the routes traveled by the vehicle with and without the occupant, when a route is taken with the occupant and the route is not assigned to the occupant.
