The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition. The present invention is characterized in that the composition comprises, in a cosmetically acceptable medium, an extract of lotus, an extract of witch hazel (hamamelis virginiana) and of zinc or one of its salts. The present invention also relates to the cosmetic use of such a composition for the care of the skin and the superficial body growths, in order to hydrate the skin, and to limit the secretion of sebum, tighten the pores of the skin and the smooth, and unite the complexion.
