A manual gearbox is fitted to a vehicle and comprises a key interlock (cl) comprising an elastic return means (mr) placed in front of a protuberance (prp) of a fork (f2) coupled to a braking assembly (ef) during a stage of selecting the reverse, and arranged, when this protuberance (prp), the forces due to the translation of its fork (f2) induced by a control finger (dc) during a phase of the engagement of the reverse gear, in order to send this fork (f2) in a rest position, in view of an engagement of the rear by a finger of the reverse (dma).
