Hot water production plant comprising a storage tank (2), a clean power supply system (28) delivering a variable power, and a thermodynamic circuit equipped with at least one evaporator (10) arranged to be disposed in an air flow (12) of a ventilation system of a building, at least one condenser (6) disposed in the tank (2), and at least one variable speed compressor (16), this installation comprising means (30) for measuring the variable power delivered by the own power supply system (28), and means for regulating the speed of at least one variable speed compressor (20) as a function of the measurement given by these measuring means (30) of the variable power.
