The present invention relates to a method (200) of the management of reception of vehicles at the level of a platform, to each vehicle being associated with an identifier and a device for locating the vehicle, said method (200), comprising for each vehicle: - a first detection (210) of the vehicle when it is at a journey time remaining until said platform, less than or equal to a first predetermined threshold, and - a second detection (216) of the vehicle when it is at a journey time remaining until said platform less than or equal to a second predetermined threshold, or when it reaches a predetermined position with respect to said platform. It also relates to a system and an installation for implementing such a process.
