The invention relates to a method for calibrating an array of N optically pumped vector magnetometers, comprising a step of determining a matrix of coupling coefficients between magnetometers of the network. This step comprises the following operations: sequential generation (GENi), by one of the magnetometers of the so-called reference magnetometer network, of m reference magnetic fields of known amplitudes and of distinct directions; measuring (MESj), by each of the N magnetometers of the network, the m reference fields along n axes; determination (CALCij) of coupling coefficients between the reference magnetometer and each of the N magnetometers of the network, said determination comprising the calculation of coupling coefficients by performing the ratios between the N measurements of one of the m reference fields following the one of the n axes and the amplitude of said one of the m reference fields.
