Container (1) provided with a petaloid bottom (3) having feet (8) which protrude outwardly from the container (1), separated in pairs by hollow valleys (10) which extend radially from a dome (5) central bottom (3) to a periphery (9) thereof, each foot (8) having a face (12) median concavity facing outward and extending by one side End portion (14), each valley (10) having an inner portion (15) extending from the central dome (5) and an outer portion (16) which joins the periphery (9), the inner portion (15) and the outer portion (16) being, in section in a median radial plane to the valley (10), straight and together forming an obtuse angle (P) projecting towards the outside of the container (1) and joining at a vertex (17) located vertically above the fitting ring (14).
