Center punching centering die (15) comprising: a body with a lower portion to be mounted on a first frame (11), an upper face and an orifice for receiving on said upper face a punch (7) mounted on a second frame (3); characterized in that the orifice forms on the upper portion of the body of the die (15), a centering surface (23) of the punch (7) in said orifice when said punch (7) is mounted with clearance on the second frame (3). Said die (15) also comprises housings (25) into which will be inserted an indexing rod (27), for positioning the working end of the punch (7) as required.
